Hi JR,
During your time of waiting for Lorne's return did you ever doubt? My husband left our home about a year ago and divorced me in October. I'm believing that a miracle will be done but as I don't see change...sometimes I can get weary.
My husband and I are still married but separated. He said he wanted to work things out then did a 180 and now has a girlfriend and plays with that terrible website, "MY SPACE". I have yet to give up faith. I asked him to go to a 3 day Christian seminar to try to save our marriage. He has aggreed to come but not to fix our marriage.I get weary also but try to keep the faith and pray everyday. Maybe you can ask him to attend a seminar.It is available to all couples. Even if you are divorced or if there is another in your spouses life.
Thank you for your encouragement and testimony. My husband and I have been separated 3 times, and he told me 2 weeks ago that he's considering a divorce. Your testimony showed me I don't have to sign divorce papers. I can wait, pray, and love through it all. Thank you! What a precious gift you are to your husband, and what a special man he is now that God has opened his eyes and shown him.
Remember: God will not ask you to account for your spouse's activities or attitudes, but He will ask how you reacted or responded. I live each day with this goal: NO REGRET--Live each day for Jesus with NO REGRET for how I served Him. In heaven, I want to be able to smile and say, "I did my best, Lord, and served you regardless of my circumstances!"
